Endangered school in Tanzania - By Gally on 25th February 2020 05:19:27 PM

A humanitarian travel in Tanzania, from November to December in 2019 has enabled me to have a unique experience with a generous and passionate Tanzanian family.

This family has changed my life in so many amazing ways I can’t describe. There extreme generosity and influence in the children’s education of Ngaramoni, a small village close to the city Arusha has touched me deeply.

Thanks to there will and fire, they built a school that welcomes around 300 children, between 4 and 16 years old in which 30 children received learning support, meals and housing during the school period.

We just remember that Tanzania is one of the poorest countries in the world and that education is low on the priority list of the gouvernement.

The school was run as well as it could due to it’s limited capabilities until the gouvernement and the police threatened to close the school if it didn’t expand. Evidently, no financial aid was granted.

In Tanzania, land is sold to the people offering the most money. This process plunges schools like this into peril leading to a bleak future

The needs are serious and the maintenance is expensive. Unfortunately, the Director in whom I lived for 6 weeks, lacks the financial resources to fund these vital projects. This is the reason why I create this kitty. I hope you will support him in his task as I try to do it.

The funds raised helped build new infrastructure, like a kitchen, sport hall, a cantine and class rooms. Proving to the gouvernement that these projects are real and deserve serious increases in funding for these disadvantaged communities.

The director of this school is an amazing man, with exceptional qualities of the like I have rarely seen in my life. It is my endeavour to help him achieve his goals.

Don’t hesitate to share the link, to speak of this project between yourselves. Even to hassle your colleagues, ( that works sometimes).

Hear this call from my heart. Let's try and be efficient together by donating as much as we can.

We are all one

The children thank you as I do.
