Hello, everyone! Here are the notes from our meeting on Wednesday:

1. Your homework is to login to your EF account and click "my donation page". Copy the donation page link and email or text it to me at [email protected] or 601-622-1595.

2. We will meeting on Tuesday after school, 3:45-4:30pm. Please come to the meeting with five names and addresses of people you know who you can write a Christmas/holiday donation letter to. I will provide the stationary for the letters and we will include a small slip of paper with your donation links on it!

3. If you have Facebook, post your donation page link along with a short message asking people to support or sponsor your trip to France in 2021. Ask them to share your post as well. Make sure you have it set to public! You may also add me, and I can share it for you. I have lots of teacher friends in multiple states! You can also post this on other social media or create a facebook fundraiser as well. The easier page to use is your EF page because the donations automatically come off your total cost.

4. Be thinking of local businesses to which you would feel comfortable going into and selling your trip! I am creating us all "airline" tickets with the total miles to Paris on it. We are selling each mile for $1.00. Donors can sponsor your mileage for $10, $25, $50, or "other" ( they can write in another amount). For any businesses who participate, they will be able to email me their business logo or their name, and I will have us t-shirts made for our trip with their sponsorships on the back.

5. Be thinking of other fundraisers to do once the weather gets nice. Use the holiday season and time of giving to beg for money for your trip! Ask family and friends for money instead of gifts you'll never use!
