Up for sale today is my trusty 2005 Toyota Sienna LE, ready for a new owner to show it some love.

I purchased this car locally in Indianapolis about 3 months ago to work on and retrofit as a traveling van. However, my plans changed as I inherited my grandmother’s newer lower-mileage van and decided to get it running instead for the sentimental value. This is a great van for commuting, a conversion, your band, whatever you’d like! It needs very little work to be a perfect daily driver. It was purchased new in Jacksonville, FL in 10/2004 and exported to Puerto Rico. It lived there until 12/2014 when it was imported back into the US and has been driven in Indianapolis since. Clean CarFax, Clean Title, OEM Key & Fob, this is ready to go. Aside from some very minor typical corrosion, this is NOT covered in rust as it lived most of it’s life in warm, dry climates.

Now, the good:

- Runs & drives

- Low mileage

- Clean paint

- No rust

- Cleaned inside & out

- Electronics are perfect

- Suspension is perfect

And…the bad:

- Front bumper is pretty rough

- Dash is pretty badly cracked up

- Plastic front seat backs are rough

- Carpet needs a really good shampooing

- No service records, self-maintained

- Starts to overheat after 30-60 mins of driving

Now, the last point is really the only concern that isn’t cosmetic. If you grabbed some junkyard interior bits and rented a shampooer the appearance would be taken care of. I bought it as-presented but haven’t taken the time to diagnose or repair it as I’ve decided to move on from the project. It could be something simple like a fan, a vacuum leak, a bad thermostat, plugged up hose, bad flow etc, or it could be something more time consuming. I’m not a master mechanic, just a self-taught guy repairing his own cars. It will drive to you just fine and commutes just fine but will need repaired to drive long distances.
