Meat Cutter Memes(uncensored) vs Peter Cooney

The story

Early in this groups life (July 2020) we got introduced to the legend to be known as Pro Union Pete. At the time the group only had 800 or so members and growing at a modest pace. 

My philosophy on running the group is much like the mob in old Roman times. I'm not going to micromanage every comment, and furthermore I just laugh when someone reports a comment for hate speach or whatever. 

The first time Pete commented was a meme about a particular grocery chain that had forced out the union in exchange for NUBs (non union bastards as Peter would call them).

In all caps Peter said "BUNCHA NUB JERKOFFS" and nothing else.

No doubt, people were puzzled but no one replied.

Over the next few days Pete left the caps lock on and let all non union bastards hear it.

He even started a post by saying:

"HOW MANY OF YOU NON UNION BASTARDS ARE BRINGING THE QUALITY OF LIVING DOWN IN THE PROFESSION"

That pretty much got everyone's attention and some absolute GOLD memes and comments were made for a few days.

Most notable was from Pete stating "YOU DONT KNOW YOUR ASS FROM A JAR OF APPLEBUTTER"

Some googling had us learn that Pete is actually an elected official for his town, which was a big talking point.

There was a wild couple of days where Peter kept his caps lock on and the group collectively had at him.

One of my Admin's who hadn't kept up with the hilarious back and forth actually banned Peter without me knowing we were having fun with him. Sadly, alot of his original posts got deleted when that happened, hence I'm retelling this story from memory and might not be 100% accurate. 

Turns out that salty old union Pete was trolling us from the getgo. 

Peter went from a meme target to one of the most beloved members we have. He's still a bit of an asshole, but he is OUR asshole.
