A foreigner from Mexico called Juan has just gotten a new job after lots of interviews in Canada. His English was great, but he couldn't avoid the false cognates pranks when he met his boss.

Juan: Hello, sir Louis! It's a real pleasure to meet you. 

(They shake hands quickly)

Louis: It's nice to meet you, Juan! I'll let you know already that you don't need to use so much formality. 

Juan: Oh, it's alright then, patron! 

(Juan smiles, but Louis got a serious expression on his face)

Louis: ... I asked you to not use so much formality, but it doesn't mean you need to mock me and disrespect me!

(Juan got really confused)

Juan: I-I'm sorry, I'm really sorry, patron! I don't know what I said wrong, but I'm s-

Louis: Hold on! Are y... Oh.

(Louis gets the situation and laughs)
