Well, yes, I’m going to write this in English (typical Thomas, innit? 🙄) and well, yes, it has been a while. But your favorite father (let’s pretend this makes sense) is here, yet another year, to congratulate you and to gently thank you for blessing his and many lucky others’ lives with your brilliance, kindness and generosity. You are a source of light in all its forms, blinding everyone you have ever crossed paths with with your elegance and charm. 

I hope you have the greatest day. Please know that even though I may not be here as much anymore, I will always and forever truly cherish our bond. Thank you for letting me teach you things — even though somewhat irrelevant at times — and most importantly, thank you, from the bottom of my little heart, for teaching me what makes a great friendship.
