2 years have passed since the Dragonchain ICO - posted by guest on 16th December 2019 01:13:27 PM

Sunday December 15th 2019

2 years after ICO, metrics show a few hundred transactions on an average day, which are likely all transactions from internal projects and saving Trump tweets on the blockchain. Apparently no one is really using Dragonchain despite the tremendous business development going on behind the scenes, and the more recent marketing efforts. Why is that?

Everything written below is my personal opinion I have formed after being involved with Dragonchain as a token investor for over 2 years, and observing their evolution and their CEO's (henceforth referred to by his name, Joe) behaviour during that time. It's not investment advice, I am not telling you to sell or buy anything, and none of what I say should be taken as the absolute truth.

Literally EVERY potential breakthrough in terms of business development this project had a chance of gettin its hands on has fallen through. The Starbucks deal, the Singapore office, the "other" offices that were supposed to stimulate networking efforts, the many incubator projects, Cogint (aka Fluent) ... Just do a Google search for "Dragonchain partnership" and ask about ANY of these on Telegram or Twitter and see what reaction you get.

About each and every interesting addition to their team has left the company after working for them for a short time. Some ex employees have even gone and come out with stories about how Joe is a master manipulator and Dragonchain is misleading token investors. Dragonchain never issued a response and was not able to put any of the accusations to rest.

People really need to wake up and smell the coffee (This is a pun referring to the only real world usage Dragonchain has ever seen, a small batch coffee importer, who may, or may not still be working with them). All of this isn't a coincidence, it's very clear that people and companies who have a reputation to protect are backing out of any co-operation there might exist between them and Dragonchain.

I'm honestly amazed, and frankly disgusted, to see Joe getting away with his manipulative behaviour day after day. He's just keeping the community occupied by basically trolling around, pretending to be "one of you", and some of you are still buying it. Disney didn't "grant" Joe the opportunity to take Dragonchain and make it open source. They just wanted him out because he's a toxic person, and didn't care if he took what he was working on because it wasn't going anywhere anyway. Remember how, when Dragonchain was still at Disney there was no need for a token? It was just a way for Joe to get money. He does not have token holders' best interest at heart, he's just using them to prop up the price of the token he created, which wasn't necessary in the first place. The token model doesn't make sense anyway. Nodes are losing money, there is no incentive for anyone to join and help protect the network, which in turn makes Dragonchain ridiculously inattractive to any business looking for a secure blockchain solution. TIME aka DDSS is just a way to keep people holding on to their tokens by making them think selling them is a bad idea. However there is no, and has never been any demand for TIME.

Oh, one more thing: No matter what Joe tells you, I'm not getting paid to make Dragonchain look bad, and neither are all the other people spreading the word on what's really going on with this project. There's simply no incentive for us to do so. Dragonchain is not threatening any industry or other projects. Neither is there an incentive for "the media" to make Dragonchain look bad, or willingly ignore them. All of that is bullshit and is just part of the narrative being created by Joe that will eventually explain why Dragonchain has failed and he is not responsible. It's also why Dragonchain is now open source, so the community can take the blame when it all comes crashing down.

Remember, it's Dragonchain against the big evil world! They're the good guys and everyone else is out to get them, while they're just trying to do everything for the community and their token holders... ;-)
